Brief Summary: The project aims at investigating state-of-the-art and developing novel methods for analysis of Magyar Telekom data in order to support various open city services. Particular interest is given to anomaly detection in mobile usage data provided by Magyar Telekom Nyrt based on which approaches to traffic jam detection on Hungarian highways and subsequent planning of traffic detour as well as prediction of probable destination of the travelers are being researched. Also, recommendation techniques utilizing crowd detection will be investigated.
